Miami Heat continued their astounding post season form by taking a 3-0 lead over Milwaukee Bucks, a team that few fancied them to beat, let alone whitewash.

And oddsmakers’ are apparantly beginning to grow extremely wary of Miami going all the way; this morning, Miami’s price to win the title was cut to just +500, suggesting that oddsmakers’ believe that they have a 16.67% chance of going all the way. Only the two LA teams are more favored at this stage.

Bettors are also throwing their weight behind Miami. OddsChecker reported earlier this week that more bets were placed on the Heat to win the NBA that any other team, and that trend has only continued after last night’s performance.

Oddschecker spokesperson Pete Watt: "We’re running out of superlatives to describe this Miami side, who continue to prove that a team is very much the sum of its parts.”

“+500, or 5/1, is a price that won’t remain for long once the Heat inevitably wrap up this series, and we’re expecting to see plenty more wagers in the coming hours and days.”
