Ray Allen’s all-time record is about to drop, It’s not a question of if but when. Stephen Curry is merely 10 made three-pointers away from surpassing the NBA legend, moving into the position following Wednesday’s 104-94 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

Curry scored 22 points on 6 of 17 shooting from deep to lift the Golden Warriors to their 21st win of the season at the Chase Centre in San Francisco. Curry made 12 of his 17 shooting attempts in the first half, but he bucketed only four. In the second half, he took fewer chances, making 2 of five shots from deep.

The game against Portland marked Curry's last chance to accomplish the landmark achievement on home turf and in front of his legions of adoring fans.

The Golden State Warriors hit the road for a five-game trek around the league. Ironically, Curry’s next shot comes against his brother Seth and the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday, December 11.

The odds at BetMGM tip Curry to set the new record this weekend at +400 in Philadelphia. Interestingly, it’s not the favorite outcome as per the NBA odds.

Bookmakers consider Golden State’s game against the Indiana Pacers on Monday, December 13 as the likeliest to deliver the record-breaking moment. The odds are set to -220.

The last three games on the five-game road trip include stops in Boston, New York and Toronto. The odds for either of those destinations and their lucky fans witnessing history are considerably larger - +700 against the Knicks, +3500 against the Celtics and +6500 any game after that.
