NBA All-Star Weekend: NBA All-Star Game Odds and Picks
Cleveland is the site of this weekend’s NBA All-Star festivities, with all the action being wrapped up with Team LeBron vs. Team Durant on Sunday night at the Rocket Mortgage Field House. For the second season in a row, LeBron James and Kevin Durant chose their teams on TNT last week, with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid being the first players taken off the board.
Let’s take a closer look at the game itself.

NBA All-Star Game
Since the format of the league’s two best players choosing their own teams, Team Lebron is a perfect 4-0 in this game-winning by an average of 9.75 points. Just as he considers himself during the regular season, LeBron has proven himself a formidable general manager in picking his teams.
With some of the highest scores posted in NBA All-Star Game history, including two of 170+, Lebron’s teams always know how to score in droves. This year should be no different, with a healthy Giannis, Steph Curry, Nikola Jokic, and of course LeBron himself. Speaking of LeBron, he’ll be playing likely his final All-Star game in his hometown of Cleveland, and I expect a vintage LeBron-like performance.
Another major catalyst in Team Lebron’s favor is the recent dominance of DeMar DeRozan. In his eight games prior to the break, DeRozan has eight straight 30+ performances including 38 or more in his final three games.
Two All-Star newcomers looking to make a splash are (Cavalier) Jarrett Allen and (Raptors) Fred VanVleet playing for Team LeBron. Add in a full list of reserves headlined by Luka Doncic and Donovan Mitchell, and I like for the offense-focused team Team LeBron to run away with this late.
NBA All-Star Game Pick
- Team LeBron -5.5 (-110) (Bet $110 to Win $100)
