Toronto Raptors vs Philadelphia 76ers Series Winner Odds
Team | Opening Odds | Game 1 | Bets% | Handle% |
---|---|---|---|---|
76ers | -175 | -200 | 30% | 80% |
Raptors | +155 | +165 | 70% | 20% |
This is fairly interesting. So, the Toronto Raptors who are the five seed gave received 70% of the bets do not have more of the handle. In fact, it's very heavy in the 76ers direction with 80% of the handle of Philly to advance.
Philly has made the playoffs for five years in a row and have yet to reach the Eastern Conference finals. You can only "trust the process" so much which is why they made the big splash for Harden.
Bet $10, Win $200 if EITHER TEAM hits a 3-Pointer
During the regular season, the Raptors were 1-3 against Philly this year with the 76ers only win coming on the road in Toronto. This series really feels like a coin flip, which I guess is why I'm so surprised to see the handle and bets percentage skewed in one way. Philly is the more experienced team and has a lot more on the line.
Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet is a nice core going forward and they have a bright future but I'm not sure it's enough to take down the firepower of Philadelphia. I'm riding with the handle on this one.
