Knicks Rumors: Is Jaden Ivy the Oddsmakers' Favorite to be the Knicks' First Pick?
Rumors have swirled around the Knicks and Jaden Ivey all offseason. However, oddsmakers never bought into the idea with the Purdue guard seemingly out of reach. That is, until now.

New York Knicks NBA Draft First Pick Odds Breakdown
Jaden Ivey is now the favorite to be taken with the Knicks’ first pick at +350, or an implied 22.2% chance. The change came just hours before Ian Begley made multiple reports about the Knicks having conversations for the fourth and fifth picks in the draft.
If the Knicks don’t go with Ivey with the 11th pick, oddsmakers have zeroed in on two other potential guards. Ohio State’s Malaki Branham is now second on the market at +400, he was +1000 on June 8th. Meanwhile, Johnny Davis is third at +450, a move from +1200 on June 8th.
The Knicks need a point guard, they have for more than a decade. Oddsmakers believe they may get their wish on Thursday, as Purdue’s Jaden Ivey has skyrocketed to the top of their odds market. Will the New York Knicks be able to select Jalen Ivey as their first pick in the draft?
In order to select Ivey, a trade would need to be completed. So for oddsmakers to say a trade is more likely than the selection of saying Branham or Griffin is a big deal. If not Ivey, it’s still very notable that Griffin has fallen behind both Branham and Davis. Oddsmakers clearly seem to have a different impression of what the 11th pick is going to look like than the mock drafters.
