NBA Free Agency: Ranking the Top 20 Remaining Free Agents
After the madness that took place on Thursday, more and more free agents are starting to leave the big board. But there are still many players to choose from if teams are still looking for a player or two. Here are the top 20 remaining free agents in the NBA.
Top 1-5 Remaining NBA Free Agents
1. James Harden 2. DeAndre Ayton 3. Miles Bridges 4. Collin Sexton 5. Caleb Martin
James Harden is still clearly the best free agent on the board. He opted out of his contract with the 76ers and will be looking to put together a new contract to help the 76ers get financial flexibility. Meanwhile, DeAndre Ayton, Miles Bridges, Collin Sexton, and Cody Martin are all restricted free agents, meaning their current teams could match whatever offer they're given to retaining their players. Ayton could be dealt in a sign-and-trade. Sexton will likely return to Cleveland and Caleb Martin has been rumored around potentially going to Minnesota. And Bridges probably won't have a job.
Top 6-10 Remaining NBA Free Agents
6. Dennis Schroder 7. Montrezl Harrell 8. T.J. Warren 9. Carmelo Anthony 10. Jordan Nwora
Dennis Schroder, Montrezl Harrell, T.J. Warren, and Carmelo Anthony are all unrestricted free agents, meaning they're free to go anywhere. Schroder is an interesting option. for teams still looking for a guard. T.J. Warren is also an intriguing option for those looking for a premium scorer off the bench.

Top 11-15 Remaining NBA Free Agents
11. Jeremy Lamb 12. Thomas Bryant 13. Serge Ibaka 14. LaMarcus Aldridge 15. Markieff Morris
Now we're getting into veterans that will ask for little money to play for a contender. All five of these players are unrestricted free agents and the bottom of the list will start to ask for the veteran minimum to join a continuing team and potentially win a ring.

Top 16-20 Remaining NBA Free Agents
16. Facundo Campazzo 17. Dwight Howard 18. Austin Rivers 19. DeMarcus Cousins 20. Hassan Whiteside
Most of the "high potential" players were gone on the first day of free agency. These veterans are basically waiting for contending teams to finish filling out their roster. That might happen once the Summer League is over. Maybe one of these teams finds a gem in the Summer League and signs them instead of a veteran. Be patient with these types of players. They'll eventually land a home.
