I'm not entirely sure Russell Westbrook and Talen Horton-Tucker gets it done for the Lakers, no matter how many picks they throw on top.

At +600 the Nets are the second favorite to land Irving, but we all know what that looks like so it doesn't need much of a breakdown. The third favorites to land Irving are the Dallas Mavericks, according to the latest Kyrie Irving next team odds. This one makes little-to-no sense to me. If you're the Mavericks and you have the best young ball-dominant player in the NBA, Luka Doncic, why would you bring in another player that needs the ball in his hands to make a difference? I can't think of a way that Doncic and Irving can survive together, but teams have made head-scratching choices in the past so we'll have to wait and see.
Kyrie Irving Next Team Odds - Philadelphia 76ers (+1500)
On paper this one actually makes sense. The 76ers need a point guard (If they don't sign Harden) and Irving is one of the best in the world. Her'es the thing, in order to get Irving they'd likely need to deal Matisse Thybulle, Tyrses Maxey and Tobias Harris. But, don't you think the team would rather have Harden and those three players than just Irving? I get that it opens up cap flexibility by getting rid of Harris' max contract, but it also unloads your two best young pieces, including Maxey who may be able to fill the on-ball role in the coming years.
