Way-Too-Early 2023 NBA Mock Draft: Predicting All 60 Picks for 2023

Way-Too-Early 2023 NBA Mock Draft: Predicting All 60 Picks for 2023
I know the 2023 NBA season hasn't even started yet. But I'm super excited for the next wave of prospects already. I've put together a full 2023 NBA mock draft. The draft order will not be the same as I have listed below. But we won't know the draft order until the draft lottery next year. So we'll use this.
1. Rockets: Victor Wembanyama, C, France
Wembanyama will be the top prospect in 2023. He's extremely long and versatile. At 7-2, there's nothing like him in the NBA. He's the guy everyone wants with the first pick.
2. Magic: Pistons: Scoot Henderson, PG, G League
Henderson is already running up my draft board, He's impressed as a teenager and has so many qualities that NBA teams are looking for in a point guard. Henderson averaged nearly 15 points per game while also adding nearly five rebounds and five assists in 31.5 minutes per game as a 17-year-old in the G-League Unite. He'll be playing one more year in the league and even if he doesn't increase his stats, he'll still be a top-five pick.
3. Nick Smith, G, Arkansas
Once Nick Smith puts Arkansas on the map, he's going to be a top-3 pick in the NBA. Smith is expected to bring a ton of energy to Arkansas. He's a flat-out scorer.
4. Thunder: Anthony Black, PG, Arkansas
There's a reason why Smith will play so well. Black will be the other player in the backcourt with Smith. He handles the ball well and is a great passer. But he's also 6-7 and can shoot while also playing as a wing. The versatility is huge.
5. Blazers: Cameron Whitmore, SF, Villanova
6. Spurs: Dariq Whitehead, SF, Duke
7. Kings: Gregory Jackson, PF, South Carolina
8: Pacers: Ausar Thompson, SG, Overtime Elite
9. Wizards: Amen Thompson, SG, Overtime Elite
10. Knicks: Keyonte George, SG, Baylor
11. Pelicans: Jarace Walker, PF, Houston
12. Hornets: Jordan Walsh, SF, Arkansas
Yep. Another Arkansas player going into the lottery. Maybe we should consider Arkansas' future bets at this point. Walsh has a very smooth game and can stand out on both ends of the floor.
13. Clippers: Dillon Mitchell, SF, Texas
14. Hawks: Terquavion Smith, G, NC State
15. Pacers: Kel'el Ware, C, Oregon
16: Lakers: Cason Wallace, SG, Kentucky
17. Nets: Amari Bailey, SG, UCLA
18. Timberwolves: Chris Livingston, SF, Kentucky
19. Magic: Arthur Kaluma, PF, Creighton
20. Nuggets: Leonard Miller, SF, G League Unite
21. Jazz: Baba Miller, SF, Florida State
Miller had a little growth spurt in Spain and is now signed with Florida State for this season. FSU always has interesting prospects who maybe don't produce much in college but are always NBA-ready.
22. Raptors: Dereck Lively, C, Duke
23. 76ers: Kansas Kyle Filipowski, PF, Duke
24. Knicks: Kris Murray, PF, Iowa
25. Thunder: Caleb Love, SG, UNC
If UNC has the year that everyone is expecting in 2022-23, Love's draft stock could increase even more.
26: Rockets: Grady Dick, SG, Kansas
27: Celtics: Matthew Cleveland, SG, FSU
28: Suns: Marcus Sasser, PG, Houston
29. Grizzlies: Ousmane N'Diaye, PF, Senegal
30. Warriors: Julian Strawther, SF, Gonzaga
31. Rockets: Armando Bacot, C, North Carolina
Armando Bacot can really boost his draft stock with another big season for North Carolina this year.
32. Magic: Brandon Huntley, PF, Louisville
33. Pistons: Jordan Hawkins, SG, UConn
Whitehead won the McDonald's Game MVP and is a two-way player coming out of Duke.
34. Thunder: Trayce Jackson-Davis, PF, Indiana
The Thunder always find so much value no matter where they're drafting.
35. Pacers: Baba Miller, SF, FSU
36. Pacers: Sidy Cissok, SF, G-League
37: Kings: Seth Trimble, PG, North Carolina
38: Lakers: Ryan Rupert, SG, France
39. Spurs: Terrence Shannon, SG, Illinois
40. Wizards: Jalen Wilson, SF, Kansas

44. Cavaliers: Efe Abogidi, C, G-League
45. Pelicans: Adam Miller, PG, LSU
46. Hawks: Dawson Garcia, PF, North Carolina
47. Nets: Devan Cambridge, SF, Auburn
48. Bulls: Eric Gaines, PG, UAB
