Lakers NBA Championship Odds +1800 (Bet $100 to win $1800)
The Los Angeles Lakers have the eighth-best odds to win the NBA Championship which hasn't changed since the LeBron James contract extension. Somehow, a team with Russell Westbrook, LeBron James, Carmello Anthony, Anthony Davis, Dwight Howard, etc. finished with a 33-49 record.
Sure, those guys are much older now but that is one of the most disappointing finishes for a team that made the playoffs in 2021, and won the NBA Finals the year prior. It's almost reminiscent of the 2013 Lakers who brought in Dwight Howard and Steve Nash and the team underachieved massively.
Los Angeles has high expectations for the 2022 season and they have been linked to Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. If you buy into one of those guys going out west, you might want to get on this number now before we see some movement.
With this new extension, LeBron James has now earned $532 million in guaranteed money. Hats off to the King, and here's to watching at a minimum a couple more years of LeBron dominating in the NBA.
