Point Guards
Reggie Jackson
- FanDuel: $5,000
- Draftkings: $5,700
With John Wall and Kawhi Leonard out of the lineup for tonight's contest against the Kings, Reggie Jackson is a must in your DFS lineups. Build a team around him. His price for his potential usage is just too reasonable to pass up.
Cade Cunningham
- DraftKings: $7,800
- FanDuel: $7,700
Cunningham has put up at least 34 points via FanDuel in his first two games. He's scored at least 15 points and almost reached a triple-double against the Knicks last night with 15 points, seven assists, and eight rebounds.
Cunningham will continue to develop and could be a triple-double machine. That's his ceiling. His floor is being a 15-5-5 guy, which also isn't too bad.
Shooting Guards
Luke Kennard
- FanDuel: $3,800
- DraftKings: $4,300
Norman Powell
- FanDuel: $4,900
- DraftKings: $4,800
Again, with Wall and Leonard out, you'll want to stash Luke Kennard and Normal Powell.
Kennard had just 13.7 FanDuel points in his first game of the season. But he'll see his usage rise. He nailed all three-pointer attempts he took, and now you can expect him to get even more looks off the bench. Kennard doesn't do anything else but shoot the ball. So you won't be earning points for rebounds and assists, but he's also capable of having a 20-point game.
Powell only added 12.8 fantasy points in Los Angeles' first game. But he'll likely take at least ten shots in this game and should be used a lot more than in the first game. Powell's got a high ceiling. When he's hot from the floor, there's no stopping him.
Small Forwards
Cedi Osman
- DraftKings: $4,000
- FanDuel: $4,000
Osman took six threes in his first game of the season. He only brought down three rebounds and one assist, but for $4,000, you can pick up a player that could give you 20 points from the field. His usage was high enough, and he's not going to turn the ball over much, either.
Caris LeVert
- DraftKings: $5,800
- FanDuel: $5,600
Osman's teammate, Caris LeVert added 25.5 FanDuel fantasy points in their game against Toronto. He only had seven field goal attempts and scored 10 points.
His point total should increase. But he also added seven assists and five rebounds in the game against the Raptors. He's going to fill the box score a lot more this season. I'll take a near triple-double from someone who costs less than $6,000.
Power Forwards
Dorian Finney-Smith
- DraftKings: $4,900
- FanDuel: $4,600
Dorian Finney-Smith played 38 minutes against the Phoenix Suns, and he will cost you under $5,000 on either side.
His production was weak. His usage was tiny. But if he's going to play close to 40 minutes a night, the ball is going to find him. Whether it's a rebound, assist, or he starts to get hot from three-point range. He's got a lot of potential by playing that many minutes a night.
Alperen Sengun
- FanDuel: $5,000
Sengun could only be used as a Power Forward on FanDuel. But he just finished yesterday's game against the Grizzlies with 46.9 fantasy points. He scored 23 points with 12 rebounds, following his other performance against Atlanta, where he had 15 points and nine rebounds.
His usage is high, and it doesn't matter if he's coming off the bench. He's a must in any lineup tonight.
Centers
Giannis Antetokounmpo / Nikola Jokic
Antetokounmpo:
- DraftKings: $11,000
Jokic:
- DraftKings: $10,800
- FanDuel: $11,100
These aren't quite value plays. But these are two players that you need to consider for your lineup. Jokic is usually an automatic 50-piece in fantasy, while Giannis finished with nearly 60 FanDuel points in his first game of the season. They've got great matchups tonight.
Ivica Zubac
- DraftKings: $5,800
- FanDuel: $6,600
Zubac tallied 46.9 fantasy points against the Lakers via FanDuel in his first start. He scored 14 points and hauled in 17 rebounds. He's been getting better every season and now should have even more usage, knowing that Wall and Leonard are not playing. On top of that, Zubac protected the paint with five blocked shots.
He's not going to be a sneaky play for much longer, but for what he brings to the table, he's still very cheap.
