NBA DFS Picks: Top DraftKings, FanDuel Value Plays for Thursday (10/27)
There are only four games on the NBA slate for tonight. But that's enough games to get involved in NBA DFS tonight!
In small slates, you will want a couple of players that other players aren't thinking about. I have a couple in mind.
Here are the top DFS value plays and picks for DraftKings and FanDuel for October 27.

Point Guards
Ben Simmons
- Draftkings: $6,500
- FanDuel: $3,900
Ben Simmons isn't a high-level scorer but a box-score stuffer. He hasn't even scored more than seven points in a game, but he just put up 30.5 fantasy points with nine assists and five rebounds last night against Milwaukee.
He tallied two more steals and a block for good measure in that game. He's a sneaky option and a guy that's always capable of a triple-double.
Reggie Jackson
- DraftKings: $5,400
- FanDuel: $4,500
There are only eight starting points guards on the slate tonight. Jackson is one of them. He took 17 field goal attempts against the Thunder two days ago. Paul George should be back, but Marcus Morris and Kawhi Leonard still won't be.
He'll have enough volume from the field and earn a solid amount of assists in tonight's game against the Thunder again.
Shooting Guards
Desmond Bane
- DraftKings: $7,000
- FanDuel: $7,400
Bane is more than just a three-point shooter. He nailed six-of-ten against the Nets a few days ago, but he added at least six assists in three of four games this season. Bane might not score 38 points as he did against the Nets, but he's capable of giving you 20 points, five rebounds, and five assists every night.
Kevin Huerter
- DraftKings: $4,900
- FanDuel: $5,300
Huerter has taken at least eight threes in each of Sacramento's first three games of the season while averaging 30 minutes per night.

He's not going to do the little things, but he can still get you near five rebounds and five assists per night while scoring at a high level from three. He's worth a look.
Small Forwards
Keegan Murray
- DraftKings: $5,500
- FanDuel: $5,200
Murray has earned at least 21.8 FanDuel fantasy points in his first two games with the Kings. He's taken at least ten shots per game and has accumulated at least 32 minutes per game.
Murray's usage isn't high, but he's still finding a way to score points. He scored 19 against the Clippers and 16 against the Warriors. He will likely get you about five rebounds per game with an assist or two mixed in.
Power Forwards
Darius Bazley
- DraftKings: $3,700
- FanDuel: $4,300
Bazley has earned at least 18.6 fantasy points in games where he's played at least 16 minutes. He's played at least 16 minutes in three of four games and continues to deserve more playing time for his efforts.
Against the Clippers on Tuesday, Bazley brought down eight rebounds while scoring seven points. He also had a block mixed in. He's a guy who can fill up the box score if he's given minutes. He's earning them right now.
Centers
Ivica Zubac
- DraftKings: $6,500
- FanDuel: $6,500
Zubac just added 49.8 fantasy points against the Thunder on Tuesday. He'll take on the same team tonight after scoring 10 points while hauling in 14 rebounds.
That wasn't all, though. Zubac had seven blocks in that game and has earned at least three blocks in three of four games this season. Make sure you have Zubac in your lineup.
Santi Aldama
- DraftKings: $6,400
- FanDuel: $6,600
Aldama added 17 points and four rebounds against the Nets on Tuesday. Thanks to a steal and block, he scored 27.8 fantasy points in that game.
Aldama has earned at least 27.8 fantasy points in every game but one. He's someone who could eventually be an automatic double-double if he gets the minutes. He already has one this year.
On top of that, Aldama is shooting a solid rate of three-pointers and will only develop from outside the arc as the season progresses.
