Ever since the news broke that Kyrie wanted out of Brooklyn, NBA rumors have been spreading like crazy. Sportsbooks are seeing a handful of options for the veteran small forward, however, one team is leading the way. The Phoenix Suns are heavily favored at -125, or an implied 55.6% chance to land KD. Toronto Raptors are next behind Phoenix with +200 odds or an implied 33.3% chance. Following Toronto are the Miami Heat with +450 odds or an implied 18.2% chance to trade for Durant. The Boston Celtics and the Golden State Warriors are tied right now with +1400 odds, or an implied 6.7% chance to land the superstar.

Kevin Durant Trade Odds

These five teams would be incredible options for Durant to join, but these odds are only if the Nets decide to trade him as they did Kyrie. Back during the NBA offseason, KD had originally requested a trade and had Phoenix as his No. 1 preference. He then took this back and played in Brooklyn throughout the 2022-2023 season so far. The 34-year-old put on a monstrous first half to the season, landing himself an All-Star Game starter spot.

The moves between Kyrie, Brooklyn, and Dallas went rather quickly, so who knows how fast a deal with KD might be done. The books are pretty confident that Durant will end up with the Suns, and it does make sense. Jae Crowder has not played a single game this season, Chris Paul is 37 years old and might be getting closer to retiring, and how insane of a duo would Kevin Durant and Devin Booker be? This is definitely something to keep your eyes on.
