2023 NBA Mock Draft: Predicting Every First-Round Pick Heading Into March

2023 NBA Mock Draft: Predicting Every First-Round Pick Heading Into March
There are many of you out there that rarely watch college basketball.
But when March Madness arrives, most of you will start to tune in and watch some of the best prospects that college basketball offers.
A lot of the top prospects aren't even playing in the NCAA. But there are still plenty. International prospects and G-League players are starting to earn a ton of the NBA Draft slots.
Here's my first-round mock draft as we head into March.

1. Rockets: Victor Wembanyama, C, France
He's easily the consensus No. 1 pick. These top teams will tank hard in the second half of the season to end up with Wembanyama.
2. Pistons: Scoot Henderson, PG, G League
If Wembanyama weren't in the NBA Draft, Henderson would ultimately be a first-overall selection in most draft classes. The Pistons could end up with Henderson, who they can pair with Cade Cunningham and Jaden Ivey. That's tough.
3. Spurs: Brandon Miller, SF, Alabama
I've got no comment other than Brandon Miller is a top-three prospect and the best player in college basketball right now.
4. Hornets: Anthony Black, SG, Arkansas
Nick Smith was supposed to be the first Arkansas player off the board. But he's been injured. That's allowed Black to steal the show in Arkansas. He's a top-five pick now.
5. Magic: Nick Smith, PG, Arkansas
Orlando really wants to build around Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner. Add Nick Smith to the mix and keep building up this team from the draft. Smith will be more of a work-in-progress but has all the talent in the world.
6. Pacers: Kris Murray, PF, Iowa
Kris Murray has shown a lot of improvement this year for the Hawkeyes. His brother has been good enough in his first year in the league. Indiana could use someone Murray's size on its roster.
7. Pelicans: Gregory Jackson, PF, South Carolina
At this point, the Pelicans shouldn't give up on Zion. But they need a backup plan. GG Jackson is a bit undersized for the center position but still 210 lbs and a very solid freshman prospect that could deliver for any NBA team.
8: Wizards: Amen Thompson, SG Overtime Elite
9. Raptors: Rayan Rupert, SG, France
10. Thunder: Keyonte George, SG, Baylor
11. Magic: Jarace Walker, PF, Houston
12. Jazz: Jett Howard, SG, Michigan
13. Blazers: Maxwell Lewis, SG, Pepperdine
14. Hawks: Ausar Thompson, SG, Overtime Elite
15. Warriors: Cameron Whitmore, SF, Villanova
Whitmore has top-five potential in this draft class. The Warriors keep building their team from the draft.
16: Jazz: Terquavion Smith, G, NC State
17. Lakers: Jalen Wilson, SF, Kansas
18. Clippers: Leonard Miller, SF, G-League
19. Blazers: Taylor Hendricks, SF, UCF
20. Nets: Cason Wallace, SG, Kentucky
21. Knicks: Noah Clowney, PF, Alabama
22. Heat: Trayce-Jackson Davis, PF, Indiana
23. 76ers: Julian Strawther, SG, Gonzaga
24. Nets: Jordan Hawkins, SG, UConn
25. Grizzlies: Keyontae Johnson, SF, Kansas State
This is a great story, seeing Johnson overcome so much and make it into the NBA in the first round of the NBA Draft.
26: Pacers: Sidy Cissoko, SG, G-League
27: Jazz: Adam Flagler, PG, Baylor
28: Rockets: Kyle Filipowski, C, Duke
29. Hornets: Azuolas Tubelis, PF, Arizona
30. Pacers: Brice Sensabaugh, SF, Ohio State
