Which Teams Play in March Madness?

On Sunday, the March Madness selection committee revealed their 2022 NCAA Tournament Bracket.

68 teams make the Division I NCAA Tournament. There are two different ways a team can make the tournament. The first way is to win their conference tournaments and be crowned conference champs. There are 32 conferences in Division I NCAA basketball and each produces an automatic bid based on who wins their conference tournament.

The second way you can make the March Madness tournament is via an at-large bid. Teams that get at-large bids are ones that didn't win their conference tournaments but did impress the selection committee enough to earn the right to play in March Madness.
