Auburn March Madness Odds: Will the Tigers' Woes Away from Home Continue?
Auburn March Madness Odds: Will the Tigers' Woes Away from Home Continue?
The Auburn Tigers started out the year on fire. However, recently, the Tigers have started to struggle on the road, losing four of their last five games on a neutral court or on the road. In the one win, it took Auburn overtime to beat Mississippi State. Could Auburn be the first one or two seeds to bust some brackets and lose early? Below are some of the odds on Auburn, if you're looking to bet them.

First Round Game
Spread: Auburn -15.5 (-110) (Bet $110 to Win $100) Moneyline (-2000) vs. 15. Jacksonville State
The Auburn Tigers have not been playing their best basketball recently. But you'd have to imagine Auburn makes light work against Jacksonville State. After all, Auburn has one of the best players in the nation in Jabari Smith and has also been getting elite play out of Walker Kessler. Jacksonville State turns the ball over 20% of the time and Auburn's defense can earn turnovers in a heartbeat on the defensive end. Plus, if Auburn continues to defend the three well, Jacksonville State has no chance to win this game.
Final Four
Auburn +260 (Bet $100 to Win $260)
The Auburn Tigers are in the region where I think we see the most chaos. In the Midwest, Auburn will likely see USC in the second round and that could be where Auburn is vulnerable. USC is just as elite of an offense and defense as Auburn but didn't get as lucky in close games at the beginning of the season. Auburn is probably a team that could get washed out early so at +260 odds, there's no value with Auburn. I've got USC going to the Elite Eight and beating Auburn in the Round of 32.
National Championship
Auburn +1600 (Bet $100 to Win $1600)
There's no doubt that Auburn has the talent to make a run at this thing. However, the level of play for Auburn in March is just not on par with some of the other teams in the Midwest and in the NCAA Tournament. Auburn has struggled to shoot from long range and continues to lack consistency on the defensive glass. I'm an Auburn hater. The Tigers aren't going anywhere this year.
