UCLA March Madness Odds: Can the Bruins Get Back to the Final Four?

UCLA March Madness Odds: Can the Bruins Get Back to the Final Four?
Last year, the UCLA Bruins went from being an 11-seed to making it all the way to the Final Four. UCLA became the fifth team to ever accomplish that feat. This year, the Bruins were always a lock to make the NCAA Tournament. However, the Bruins are currently a four-seed in the East Region and will have plenty of tough games before they can get back to the Final Four. Below are some of the odds on UCLA, if you're looking to bet them.

First Round Game
Spread: UCLA -13.5 (-110) (Bet $110 to Win $100) Moneyline (-1500) vs. 13. Akron
The UCLA Bruins have the potential to make a massive run in the NCAA Tournament for the second straight season. The Bruins protect the basketball, turning the ball over just 13.4% of the time, and are just above-average in nearly every category on the defensive end. Akron is one of those teams that love to live off foul shots but UCLA isn't going to foul Akron as much as the Zips will hope for. Meanwhile, Akron has struggled to defend the three-point shot while UCLA is hitting 35.1% of looks. I like UCLA to cover in this one.
Final Four
UCLA +600 (Bet $100 to Win $600)
UCLA still has a tough draw. The Bruins will have to take on Akron first and then would have to face Indiana, Wyoming, or St. Mary's in the Round of 32. All three of these teams have upset potential, no matter the seeding. And even if UCLA gets to the Sweet 16, the Bruins would have to most likely take on Baylor, which is the team that won the NCAA Tournament last year. So it's a hard route for UCLA but because the Bruins are so complete from top to bottom and from offense to defense, the Bruins can absolutely win those tight and tough games.

National Championship
UCLA +1350 (Bet $100 to Win $1350)
It's improbable and unlikely but UCLA has the pieces to win a National Championship. The ball will have to roll the Bruins' way throughout the Tournament but right now, UCLA has size, can shoot it well, and is able to defend at a high level too. UCLA went through a gauntlet last year and found its way into the Final Four, even after playing one extra game. So don't count the Bruins out. Just know it'll be difficult.
