2022 March Madness Odds: Three Biggest Sleepers in Sweet 16

2022 March Madness Odds: Three Biggest Sleepers in Sweet 16
If you missed my article before the NCAA Tournament, I broke down the three biggest sleepers in the NCAA Tournament. My top two selections were UCLA and Houston. In the Sweet 16, both of those two teams are still alive and you could've got UCLA at +1800 and Houston at +2800. Are those two teams still sleepers in the NCAA Tournament?
Here are three teams that have a chance at winning the NCAA Tournament that are still being slept on in the Sweet 16.

March Madness Odds
1. UCLA Bruins +1500 (Bet $100 to win $1500)
The UCLA Bruins were +1800 before the Tournament began and are now just +1500 despite making it into the NCAA Tournament. UCLA will be taking on a North Carolina team that is an eight-seed and if UCLA won that game, they'd take on a Purdue team that isn't even a 1 or 2 seed. At that point, UCLA would win the East and make it into the Final Four for the second straight season. If UCLA made it to the Final Four, you're not getting +1500 odds anymore.
Bet $5 on UCLA vs UNC and win $200 if your team wins
2. Iowa State (Bet $100 to win $10000)
The Iowa State Cyclones are in the Sweet 16 facing another bottom-tier Tournament team in the Miami Hurricanes. The Cyclones had a dramatic turnaround this season after going winless in Big 12 play last season. If Iowa State defeats Miami to make it to the Elite Eight, Iowa State would then get to take on the Kansas Jayhawks, which the Cyclones are familiar with. Iowa State lost to Kansas, 62-61 and 70-61 in two games this season. There's a chance that Iowa State can beat Kansas in the Elite Eight and then get into the Final Four. Imagine having a +10000 ticket of a team that is two games away from the NCAA Tournament.
If EITHER TEAM hits a 3-Pointer in Iowa State vs Miami, you'll win $200
3. North Carolina +4000 (Bet $100 to win $4000)
The Tar Heels are obviously playing their best basketball right now after knocking off the Baylor Bears. North Carolina got up 25 points at one point against Baylor. But the pressure got to them. It was turnover after turnover and mistake after mistake and Baylor came back all the way to tie it and send the game to overtime. That's why I would be scared to bet on North Carolina. But the reality is, North Carolina has the talent and with a win over UCLA, the Tar Heels would have a solid matchup to get to the Final Four against a team like Purdue. Therefore, whoever wins the UCLA and UNC game will be the biggest sleeper of the Tournament other than Iowa State. Choose wisely!
