March Madness Odds: Championship Odds for Every Sweet 16 Team
If you're like me, you've been knocked out of your NCAA bracket challenge group. I have Arizona winning the entire thing, and while Arizona is still alive, there's literally no way I can win my pool due to all of the incredible upsets that took place.
The people winning my pool are people who never watched a game. Meanwhile, here I am, watching games every day since November and behind those other people in the standings.
Anyway, if you're looking to get your money back from the bracket challenge, you can still bet on futures and pick the winning team. Your luck isn't over yet. Here are the remaining odds for every team in the Sweet 16.

Championship Odds for Every Sweet 16 Team
(1 Seed) Gonzaga +240 (Bet $100 to Win $240)
Currently, Gonzaga is the favorite to win the NCAA Tournament. Gonzaga would have to get through Arkansas first and then would have to face Texas Tech or Duke in the Elite Eight. After that, the Bulldogs would take on the winner of the East Region, which we know won't be a one or two seed. If Gonzaga makes it to the finals, it's anyone's guess who they would face but the reality is, Gonzaga has a solid road to the Finals and deserve to be the top spot.
The Gonzaga Bulldogs are the top-ranked team in the NCAA Tournament. You can wager on Gonzaga at FanDuel with the best odds priced at +240 to win the national title. (Bet $100 to win $240)
(1 Seed) Kansas +500 (Bet $100 to Win $500)
It's pretty clear that the Big 12 is the hardest conference in college basketball. Kansas won the Big 12 Tournament and has won two straight games in the NCAA Tournament. Now Kansas will take on a Providence team that seems beatable and then would have to take on either Iowa State or Miami in the Elite Eight. The road for Kansas looks solid.
(1 Seed) Arizona +650 (Bet $100 to Win $650)
The Arizona Wildcats don't have it easy. While the Wildcats are the best team in the South, playing Houston and then potentially Villanova could finally get you eliminated. Arizona almost lost to TCU and probably should've. Now they'll take on a Houston team that is just as complete as they are. Houston could upset them and if Houston doesn't, there's a good chance Villanova can finish off the upset. Either way, in comparison to the other one seeds, Arizona has it the hardest. But it doesn't mean the Wildcats won't win.

(5 Seed) Houston +850 (Bet $100 to Win $850)
If Houston wasn't going to run into Arizona, I'd be a massive Houston fan. But Arizona is one of the few teams that can beat Houston and match up well with them. Houston's Kelvin Sampson has done some amazing things at Houston and has the chance to take the Cougars to back-to-back Final Fours. And this is as a five-seed.
(3 Seed) Purdue +1000 (Bet $100 to Win $1000)
If you think Villanova has it good facing an 11-seed in the NCAA Tournament, imagine being Purdue. The Boilermakers get to take on 15-seeded St. Peter's in the Sweet 16. Purdue's size and length should ultimately destroy St. Peter's. I'd be shocked if St. Peter's put up a fight against Purdue, despite the Boilermakers not having the best defense.
So if Purdue makes it to the Elite Eight, it'll face either North Carolina or UCLA. Purdue would be the better seed in that game. Something to think about!
(2 Seed) Villanova +1300 (Bet $100 to Win $1300)
Villanova is playing a Sweet 16 game against an 11-seed. If you're the Wildcats, you've got to be happy about that. However, Michigan isn't your normal 11-seed. Michigan was a top-five team before the season began and has all the talent in the world to upset multiple teams.
Villanova is usually well prepared in these situations. I wouldn't worry too much.

(3 Seed) Texas Tech +1600 (Bet $100 to Win $1600)
Texas Tech didn't get any easy breaks. The Red Raiders have to fake Duke and then if Texas Tech beats Duke, the Red Raiders would get Gonzaga. If Texas Tech beats Gonzaga, then the Red Raiders would take on the winner in the East, which could be Purdue or UCLA. After that, Texas Tech would play in the finals against another extremely hard team. So basically, Texas Tech's road is pretty brutal.
(2 Seed) Duke +1500 (Bet $100 to Win $1500)
The same thing I said above applies to Duke. That's why both of these teams are sitting at +1500. The road for those two teams is extremely difficult. Of course, one of these teams has to win to start the weekend, but ultimately, neither team looks great matched up against Gonzaga on paper right now.
Coach K. is set to retire at the end of the season for Duke. Do you think they can send him off by winning it all in the Tournament? The best odds for Duke to win are currently at FanDuel priced +1500.
(4 Seed) UCLA +1500 (Bet $100 to Win $1500)
The UCLA Bruins will play the third straight game as favorites to start the NCAA Tournament. If UCLA can win those three straight games, that would put them in the Elite Eight going up against most likely Purdue. UCLA could still be the favorites in that game, but I'll assume that Purdue gets the nod. Personally, I think UCLA matches up better with much better defense. The Bruins probably have the best chance at making the Final Four. These odds are the best odds you can get value-wise.
(8 Seed) North Carolina +4000 (Bet $100 to Win $4000)
North Carolina has a solid draw. I personally don't think UNC beats UCLA but with the spread sitting at -2 for UCLA, anything is possible. The Tar Heels knocked off Baylor even after losing a 25-point lead. This team will need to be more disciplined and keep the turnovers down.
(4 Seed) Arkansas +5000 (Bet $100 to Win $5000)
If you think Arkansas will beat Gonzaga, you're better off grabbing this future. Arkansas will take on Gonzaga and if Arkansas beats Gonzaga, no other team that Arkansas plays will be better than Gonzaga. The talent level only goes down from there!
(11 Seed) Michigan +6500 (Bet $100 to Win $6500)
It's been a fun ride for Michigan but now that Michigan has to take on Villanova, things are going to eventually go South. Michigan has a very solid offense that ranks in the top 20 via KenPom. But the defense isn't good enough and we know how well Villanova moves the ball and limits turnovers on the offensive end. The season will end this weekend for Michigan.

(10 Seed) Miami +7000 (Bet $100 to Win $7000)
Miami has two reliable scorers and then a bunch of role players. The offense has been elite so far this season and the defense has been swarming. But ultimately, Miami's going to run out of gas. That offense will struggle against Iowa State.
(4 Seed) Providence +7500 (Bet $100 to Win $7500)
The season is about to be over for Providence. I'd be shocked if Providence found a way to beat Kansas. But overall, this Friars team continues to win close battles and just put together a massive win to finish off the weekend.
At +7500, even oddsmakers don't believe Providence stands a chance. But I still think this team is better than other teams still on the board.
(11 Seed) Iowa State +10000 (Bet $100 to Win $10000)
Iowa State is getting no love. The Cyclones are +10000 to win the NCAA Tournament but with a win over Miami, would be in the Elite Eight. Iowa State is essentially close to a pick-em against Miami. It makes sense to take a long shot on Iowa State.
This defense has allowed no more than 54 points in a single game in the tournament this season. What if that continues?

(15 Seed) St. Peter's +10000 (Bet $100 to Win $10000)
There's no chance St. Peter's wins the NCAA Tournament. That's all I need to say.
