How to Fill out your Printable March Madness Bracket
It doesn't get much easier than filling out your March Madness bracket. But, just in case you've never filled out a bracket, we're here to help.
68 teams make the tournament of 64, which is confusing on the surface but actually makes sense. Eight teams participate in what is called the First Four. Those teams play in the days leading up to the First Round. If they win their game, they're in and play in the first round. If they lose, their trip is over. Those games turn the 68-team field into a 64-team field.
From there, filling out your March Madness Bracket is easy. All you need to do is pick a winner for each game. As a team wins, they advance to the next round and play the winner of a different game. As a team loses, they are eliminated. Eventually, just one team will remain and be crowned the national champion.
