How to Fill out your Printable March Madness Bracket
Filling out a March Madness bracket couldn't be easier. You can decide to pick teams based on their mascot, if you like their city, or any criteria you please.
68 teams make the NCAA Tournament of 64, which is obviously confusing, but don't worry it makes sense. Eight teams participate in what is called the First Four. Those teams play in the days leading up to the First Round. If they win, they're in and play in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament. If they lose, their season is over on the spot. Those games turn the 68-team field into a 64-team field.
From there, filling out your March Madness Bracket is easy. All you need to do is pick a winner for each game. As a team wins, they advance to the next round and play the winner of a different game. As a team loses, they are eliminated. Eventually, just one team will remain and be crowned the national champion.
