As we can see from the five most popular bets to win the 2023 NCAA Tournament, Houston currently has the highest percentage of the handle and bets on them to win it all. Given what they've been able to do this season, it makes sense why people are all over them to win March Madness.

UCLA has the second-highest handle but just 6% of bets are placed on them. This means big bettors are all over them, which could be a good thing if you have a UCLA futures ticket. The loss of Jaylen Clark could be huge for this time as he was their best defender and was averaging the second-most points on the team.

Seeing Kansas in the five most popular bets to win the 2023 NCAA Tournament shouldn't come as a surprise. Kansas won the tournament a season ago and looks to be in a good spot of doing it again. Gradey Dick and Jalen Wilson will look to help Bill Self win another National Championship.

Alabama might be getting slept on a bit in terms of the five most popular March Madness bets. With Brandon Miller, they can beat anybody in the country. This team has dealt with a ton of off-the-court issues this season. However, it hasn't seemed to bother them. Let's see if that stays true in the Big Dance.

Seeing Purdue have the fifth most bets placed on them to win March Madness is interesting. While I understand why people might view Purdue as a National Championship team, I think they might get bounced somewhat early. However, if Edey can play as he has this season, Purdue can beat anyone on any given night. If he doesn't, this team will lose.
