Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley Undercard: Who Else Is Fighting on Sunday?

Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley Undercard: Who Else Is Fighting on Sunday?
The Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley main event on Sunday, August 29 is one that has received a ton of hype, and for good reason. It may not turn out to be the best, most technical boxing match of all time, but the fight will surely be entertaining.
In addition to the main event, there is a pretty decent card that’s been put together by Showtime. Paul was originally signed by Triller, who was limited in what they could put together. But Showtime, known for its presence in boing, has made the Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley undercard a good one.
There are actually five undercard fights scheduled for the Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley card. They feature Amanda Serrano and Yamileth Mercado battling it out for the featherweight WBC, WBO and IBO belts and even a potential future Jake Paul challenger on the same card.
And, as always, the Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley undercard will have plenty of opportunities when it comes to making money on betting on them.

Amanda Serrano (-2000) vs. Yamileth Mercado (+1040)
Amanda Serrano is one of the best women’s boxers in the entire world and Yamileth Mercado is simply not on her level. Serrano hasn’t lost a fight since 2012. She’s probably the No. 3 pound-for-pound women’s fighter in the world, depending on if you still include Claressa Shields after her recent expansion into MMA. If Serrano is to defeat Mercado, which she almost certainly will, a matchup with the best active women’s boxer in the world, Katie Taylor, could be up next
Tommy Fury (-1400) vs. Anthony Taylor (+890)
This is a matchup that Jake Paul may want to keep an eye on as he may be fighting Fury in the near future. Tommy Fury is not just the younger brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, but he also rose to superstardom from his time on the reality TV show, Love Island. We know Fury can box, but it remains to see just how good he can actually be as the caliber of his opponents has been somewhat disappointing. Anthony Taylor is a former MMA fighter who has sparred with Paul in the past. Fury should be able to handle him easily.
Daniel Dubois (-3000) vs. Joe Cusumano (+1360)
Daniel Dubois, or DDD as he’s known, was thought to be one of the best up-and-coming boxers in the world as recently as last year. But, a brutal KO loss to Joe Joyce has calmed down some of the hype around Dubois. He got back in the ring against Bogan Dinu, a fighter he completely annihilated, and this matchup against Cusumano is seen as another fight that should give him little to no problem. Dubois should win by KO here and do so early, as he looks to ascend back to the highest point of the heavyweight division.
Ivan Barancyhk (-200) vs. Montana Love (+194)
This matchup is scheduled to be a much more competitive one than the three others above. Barancyhk and Love should put together a highly competitive fight on the Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley undercard. Following a 190-0 start to his career, Barancyhk has lost two of his last three fights. Meanwhile, Montana Love comes in with an unbeaten record of 15-0-1. We could be in for one that goes the distance here, which will be a nice change of pace because we will likely get early KOs in the three fights following.
Charles Conwell (-2000) vs. Juan Carlos Rubio (+1220)
Another matchup with lopsided odds as unbeaten Charles Conwell takes on Juan Carlos Rubio. It’s just Conwell’s 16th professional fight, but of those 15 wins 11 of them have come by KO. Conwell has the power to finish this early, but I expect it to go a little deeper into the fight before he closes it, as that’s how his bouts have been trending lately.
