Ben Askren Fight Record

Without question Ben Askren is the much more accomplished fighter in this event. Askren is a world-class grappler, a two-time NCAA national champion while attending Missouri and a FILA Grappling world championship win. He isn't known as a great striker and that'll be a concern. Despite that he's a better boxer than anybody Jake Paul would have bet so far in his short boxing career.

Throughout 22 professional MMA bouts Askren has racked up a 19-2 record, including one no contest. He’s finished 12 fights, six of which came via KO/TKO.

Our UFC expert James Lynch produced this video detailing Ben Askren's fight profile and it's an essential watch if you want to learn more about the former UFC man.

Jake Paul Fight Record

Jake Paul has only fought in two professional boxing bouts and won each by knockout, leaving him with a 2-0 record.

Paul’s first victory was against AnEsonGib, another YouTuber. Paul knocked out the British YouTuber out in Round 1, setting the stage for his next fight against former NBA player Nate Robinson. He knocked out Robinson in Round 2 with a highlight reel blow, something he seems to have taken as a sign that he is the new Mike Tyson.
