A women’s strawweight bout will serve as the main event Saturday night at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, NV, as the UFC returns for a great night of fights. Currently the No. 1 contender in the flyweight division, Jessica Andrade will be fighting Amanda Lemos in her own weight class, with Lemos currently the No. 10 contender in the strawweight division.

While there’s a great night of fights scheduled ahead of the main, let’s take a closer look at the clash between Lemos and Andrade and see where the money is flowing.

Amanda Lemos (11-1-1)

Joining the UFC in summer 2017, Lemos picked up a loss in her debut but has yet to lose since, rattling off five straight wins, three of which have come inside the distance. Her last fight likely set up her for this one, her first main event, as Lemos won a split decision over Angela Hill on the way to winning a Fight of the Night bonus.

Coming into Saturday, Lemos holds a slight striking edge with a significant striking accuracy of 61.8% (vs. 57.5%). Standing at 5’4” with a reach of 65”, it’s also worth noting that Lemos will hold a noticeable size advantage over the higher-ranked Andrade in this one.

Jessica Andrade (22-9)

A black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Andrade's fight history is a who's who of the women’s ranks across multiple weight classes. With wins over the likes of No. 3 pound-for-pound women’s fighter Rose Namajunas, which gave her the strawweight title belt, Andrade comes into this fight having lost three of her last four.

Not all losses are made the same though, as they’ve come against Rose, Zhang Weili, and the current No. 1 pound-for-pound champion Valentina Shevchenko. As far as this fight goes, Andrade’s biggest edge will come on the ground, as she enters the evening with an edge in takedown average (2.9 vs. 1.3) and submission average (.38 vs. .33).

Amanda Lemos vs Jessica Andrade Odds

Opening up as a -200 favorite (Lemos), the market seems to largely agree with oddsmakers' numbers, as that is mostly where she has remained. For those looking to get down on the favorite, Caesars and Fanduel have the best number posted (-200), while underdog bettors should head to BetMGM (+175).
