UFC 275: Glover Teixeira vs. Jirí Procházka Betting Data, Odds, and Preview

When: June 11, 10:00 PM EDT

Where: Singapore Indoor Stadium, Kallang, Singapore

The UFC will make its long-awaited debut in Singapore this weekend, as the company heads to South East Asia for UFC 275 in front of what should be a great crowd in Kallang. Before the action gets underway on Saturday, the quarterfinal round of Road to UFC, a UFC-sponsored tournament, will take place in the same stadium featuring fighters from across Asia.

When the pay-per-view event itself gets kicked off, two title fights are on top in the co-main and main event as Valentina Shevchenko © takes on Taila Santos and Glover Teixeira © takes on Jiří Procházka.

Let’s take a closer look at the Glover Teixeria vs. Jiri Prochazka odds and see where the action is headed.

Glover Teixeira (33-7)

A 42-year-old veteran of the UFC, Tex waited seven years for his second and likely final shot at the light heavyweight title, beating Jan Błachowicz for the belt at UFC 267 in October. His sixth consecutive win since losing to Corey Anderson in July 2018, it was also four-win via submission over that span and the 10th of his career. It also extended his record of 13 finishes, the most in the history of the UFC light heavyweight division.

Coming into this fight, Tex’s biggest edge will come on the ground where he holds a 2.11 takedown per 15-minute average over Procházka (.98).

Jiří Procházka (28-3-1)

While Tex gets his respect as an OG of the game, Procházka will enter the octagon at just 29 years of age Saturday and many think in the prime of his career. After winning the Rizin light heavyweight championship in April 2019 and defending it three times (all by KO/TKO), Procházka joined the UFC in July 2020, picking up two second-round KO wins in the time since.

Further illustrating the threat that Procházka provides the belt, only one of his 32 career fights has gone the distance, with 25 of them coming by way of KO/TKO. In his last 10 fights, all wins, seven have ended via KO/TKO in the very first round.
