The UFC returns to the United States this weekend for a great night of fights at the Moody Center in Austin, TX. While it will be hard to live up to the night that was UFC 275, there are still plenty of strong fights tonight with the entire card (both prelim and main) broadcast for free on ESPN2 and ESPN, respectively.
With Calvin Kattar and Josh Emmett headlining all the action, let’s take a closer look at a fight between two bantamweights in Adrian Yanez and Tony Kelley that will serve as the final fight of the prelim card.

Adrian Yanez (15-3-0)
For my money the best bantamweight in the company is still not ranked, Yanez joined the UFC in August 2020 and has racked up five straight wins since with four coming inside the distance. The last time we saw him inside the octagon was his toughest to date, a split decision win vs. Davey Grant in November.
A striking specialist, six of Yanez’s past eight fights (all wins) have come via KO/TKO, and his stats within the UFC show accordingly. As of this fight, Yanez holds the edge in significant striking volume at 6.35 (vs. 5.58).
Tony Kelley (8-2-0)
A relative newcomer to the UFC as well, Kelley joined the company in August 2020, losing his first bout via decision to Kai Kamaka III. In the time since, however, Kelley has picked up two straight wins including a December TKO victory over Randy Costa which was his last time in the octagon.
With 1.54 submissions per 15 minutes, Kelley holds a large edge in this fight on the ground. He also holds the edge in significant striking accuracy at 60% (vs. 39.18%). While he stands two inches taller than Yanez, their reach is identical at 70”.
Adrian Yanez vs Tony Kelley Odds

As fight night in Austin has gotten closer, we’ve seen Yanez get beat down a bit, with his best number as of this morning coming in at -275 (Bet MGM). For those looking to get down on the underdog, BetRivers currently offers the best number at +245.
