Josh Parisian (14-5-0)
Joining the UFC in 2020 via Dana White’s Contender Series, Parisian is 1-2 in his time with the company thus far and in desperate need of a big win to get back on track. The last time we saw him inside the octagon was just his second professional TKO loss, losing to Don’Take Mayes via TKO (elbows) in the third round.
Entering this fight, Parisian does hold an edge on the ground with .31 takedowns and submissions per 15 minutes, compared to zero from his opponent in Baudot who has not been to the ground his entire career.
Alan Baudot (8-3-0)
Fighting out of the MMA factor in Paris, France, Baudot also has just three fights in the UFC, losing all three (one later ruled an NC), two of which having come via TKO. Even still, the first came via an established killer in Tom Aspinall, as Baudot will look to use Parisian as proof he belongs in MMA’s highest ranks.
What he lacks in terms of ground games, Baudot does have an edge in both significant strikes landed per minute (5.12 vs. 4.93), as well as accuracy at 60.2% (vs. 55.1%). While neither fighter is great on the ground, Baudot will be desperate to keep this fight upright.
