The Jamaican-born brawler dropped that contest to Sean Strickland in a five-round fight where he was outstruck 186-107 on the official scorecards. ANDRE MUNIZ (22-4-0)

Muniz has made his presence known since stepping into the UFC octagon back in 2018. The Brazilian-native is a perfect 6-0 with four submissions and a pair of unanimous decisions. His last three fights have ended with first round submissions via the armbar. 

The game plan is simple for the 2nd degree black black in BJJ. He’s going to take you down, do damage from the top, and try to slip in a submission. Muniz is averaging 3.60 takedowns per minute and landing at a 40% rate. He’s also attempting 2.9 submissions per 15 minutes.
