Caio Borralho vs. Armen Petrosyan Breakdown

Caio Borralho (11-1)

Following a pair of appearances on Dana White's Contender Series, surging Brazilian prospect Caio Borralho has taken the UFC by storm. Borralho first appeared on DWCS in September 2021 but outspoken UFC President, Dana White needed to see a bit more to sign "The Natural" to a contract. Borralho would do just that only one month following his first performance as he defeated Jesse Murray via TKO which earned him a deal. Borralho would make his proper debut this past April when he defeated Gadzhi Omargadzhiev via unanimous decision.

If "The Natural" were to begin his UFC career with back-to-back wins, his best path may be to take this one to the mat as he holds 1.96 takedowns landed per 15-minutes advantage over Petrosyan, who has yet to attempt a takedown in his short UFC career.

Armen Petrosyan (7-1)

Standing across from Borralho, tonight will be Armen Petrosyan. The Armenian contender is a fellow DWCS alum, as he competed on the same episode in which Borralho earned his UFC contract in October 2021. Petrosyan's knockout of Aleksandr Zemlyakov earned him a spot on the UFC roster and help kickstart his impressive 2-0 start to his tenure n the company.

If Petrosyan is to extend his winning streak he'd be keen to keep this one on the feet as he holds a massive 7.56 to 3.66 significant strikes advantage over his Brazilian counterpart.
