Since entering the UFC in 2021, David Onama immedaitely came in as a known powerhouse but he'd suffer his first professional loss at fellow highly-rated prospect, Mason Jones during his [Onama] UFC debut. However since the lone blemish on his record, Onama got back to his winning ways when he ran through divisional mainstay Gabriel Benitez via first-round knockout, this past February.
Garrett Armfield (8-2)
The man tasked with facing the powerhouse, Onama will be UFC newcomer, Garrett Armfield. The Missouri native will be making his first walk to the UFC octagon following getting the call from the company after Onama's original opponent, Austin Lingo was forced to withdraw from the contest. Armfield enters tonight's featherweight division showdown riding a three-fight undefeated streak on the independent circuit.
