The man who will make the first walk to the octagon for tonight's main card is Australia's own, Jamie Mullarkey. Since signing with the UFC in 2019, Mullarkey faced some stern competition as he began his run with back-to-back losses but he quickly got his UFC tenure on track as he'd follow it up with a pair of victories until he came against the man who's currently taking out the entire back-end of the UFC's lightweight rankings, Jalin Turner, who knocked out Mullarkey at UFC 272.
If Mullarkey wants to get back to his winning ways he may be looking to take this one to the mat where he holds a staggering 3.38 to 0.52 takedowns landed per 15-minutes advantage over his American counterpart.

Standing across from Mullarkey tonight will be a divisional mainstay, Michael Johnson. "The Menace" made his UFC debut all the way back in 2011 when he quickly became a fan favorite during the 12th season of The Ultimate Fighter. Johnson holds a modest 13-13 record under the UFC banner and most recently viciously knocked out Alan Patrick, this past May which halted a four-fight losing streak for "The Menace".
