10. Holly Holm

A professional boxer since joining the MAM ranks, Holm has been active with the UFC since 2014, racking up a record of 14-6 (8 KOs) in the time since on the way to becoming a bantamweight champ. 

9. Jéssica Andrade

With over 20 fights (23) with the UFC, Andrade climbed to the top of the strawweight division in 2019 to claim the belt. Andrade is one of the best female Brazilians to ever fight in the UFC.

8. Jennifer Maia

Also a former boxer, Maia is a former Invicta FC flyweight champion before signing with the UFC in 2018. Though she has had a mixed bag since joining the UFC, her only losses have come against some of the best the sport has ever seen. 

7. Rose Namajunas

“Thug” Namajunas entered the UFC via The Ultimate Fighter and has gone 9-3 since for one of the best starts of any woman on this list. She’s also a two-separate time strawweight champion, having defended the title two times successfully.

6. Joanna Jedrzejczyk

Joanna joined the UFC with a splash, winning eight straight on her way to becoming the strawweight champion in 2015, defending it successfully five times. 

5. Weili Zhang

Zhang turned professional in 2013, losing her first fight before rattling off 16 straight wins before joining the UFC in 2018. She then won three more in a row to become the strawweight champion. 

4. Valentina Shevchenko

One of the best records on this list, “Bullet” is 22-3 since turning professional, all following a 59-2 record as a kickboxer. Having won her last eight straight fights, it’s a matter of time before she’s a champion.

3. Cris Cyborg

At 26-2, Cyborg sits atop the rankings for the best record of anyone on this list. A big get for the UFC in 2015 after dominating in Strikeforce and Invicta FC, Cyborg rattled off five straight wins with the company before becoming featherweight champion in 2017. Winning her last five with the UFC in 2019, Cyborg now fights with Bellator MMA. 

2. Ronda Rousey

By far the most iconic fighter on this list, “Rowdy” Rosey is a former judo Olympian who came to the UFC in 2012 following starting MMA the year prior. Notably, she was the first female to ever sign with the UFC and then went on to win her first six fights, five of which came as a bantamweight champion.

1. Amanda Nunes

The first female fighter in UFC history to hold two separate weight class belts at the same time, Nunes has been fighting professionally since 2008 before joining the UFC in 2013. Prior to her December loss to Julianna Pena, Nunes had won 12 straight fights and successfully defended her belts seven times. 

Nunes will have a chance to get her bantamweight belt back this weekend vs. Pena at UFC 277, which would make her the first two-time two-belt champion in UFC history.
