Thiago Santos (22-10)
Looking to work his way back into the title picture, this weekend is Thiago Santos. "Marreta" was on fire for the latter part of 2018 and beginning of 2019 and rode a four-fight winning streak into UFC 239 where he narrowly lost a split decision to then-champion, Jon Jones. However, Santos' luck only went down following the shortcoming against Jones as Santos enters UFC Vegas 59, losing three of his past four bouts, most recently being on the wrong end of a unanimous decision against Magomed Ankalaev, this past March.
Jamahal Hill (10-1)
Standing across from Santos this weekend will be Chicago's own, Jamahal Hill. The 31-year-old contender entered the UFC as one of the hottest rising prospects in the world at 205-pounds. However, the hype train was temporarily derailed by the veteran, Paul Craig, who caught Hill en route to a TKO victory over the previously undefeated Hill. Since his first professional loss, Hill's been a man on a mission, knocking out Jimmy Crute and most recently in a Knockout of The Year contender over Johnny Walker, this past February.
