Jake Paul vs. KSI Odds: KSI Given 55% Chance to Defeat Jake Paul After Paul Accepts Challenge to Fight

This past Saturday Jake Paul was scheduled for a fight but was canceled against Hasim Rahman Jr. because of Rahman Jr's weight. He is at 215 pounds and roughly 10 pounds over the limit and asked Paul's camp to bump the limit to 215 just days before the fight. Paul refused and the fight was called off.

Now the thought goes to who will Jake Paul fight next? The latest reports today are that KSI will take on Paul. KSI called out Paul via Twitter, and Jake Paul has accepted his challenge, it seems.

Jake Paul vs. KSI Breakdown

Paul has not fought since last December's knockout win in a rematch against Tyron Woodley. KSI is a British rapper and YouTuber who has 15.7 million subscribers on YouTube. He's set to fight against fellow rapper Swarmz later this month.

Jake Paul's largest feud of his career is against rapper JJ Olatunji. Paul originally began training to box after being called out back in 2018 by Olatunji. On that same card that Jake fought, Logan Paul faced KSI in the ring, and the match was ruled a draw. Then Logan and KSI had a rematch in which KSI won by split decision over Logan, and he was set to face Jake next. Since then, COVID-19 got in the way, as did KSI's music career taking off in Europe.

Jake Paul vs. KSI Odds (From 2020)

OddsResultImplied Chance

Back in 2020, KSI and Jake Paul were on a collision course to fight after Paul called out KSI after a fight. As a result, numerous sportsbooks put out lines for the fight. At the time, KSI had the slightest edge by oddsmakers priced at -125 or an implied 55% chance of defeating Jake Paul.

Since these odds were listed, KSI has not had a professional fight, and Jake Paul has defeated Tyron Woodley twice and Ben Askren once. Could Jake Paul actually be listed as the favorite once these two sign? I believe so, given his more recent time spent in the ring.
