The final man to make the walk down to the UFC's octagon, this weekend will be Marlon Vera. 'Chito' looks to make it four-straight at UFC San Diego as the 29-year-old has rattled off three consecutive victories over the likes of Davey Grant, Frankie Edgar, and most recently, Rob Font, this past April. Vera is a 19-fight UFC veteran and has compiled an impressive 13-6 record under the UFC banner.
Dominick Cruz (24-3)
Standing across from Vera, this weekend will be none other than San Diego's own, Dominick Cruz. The former champion will be looking to make the jump back into the title mix at 135-pounds when he takes on Vera in his hometown of San Diego. Following a pair of back-to-back title losses to Cody Garbrandt and Henry Cejudo, 'The Dominator' got back on track with a pair of wins over Case Kenney and most recently, Pedro Munhoz, last December. Prior to the aforementioned title losses, Cruz went on an eight-year undefeated streak whilst holding the UFC Bantamweight Championship, defeating the likes of Joseph Benavidez, Urijah Faber, Demetrious Johnson, and TJ Dillashaw.
