Chase Sherman (16-10)
Since originally entering the UFC in 2016, Chase Sherman has had quite the up-and-down run with the promotion.
Sherman would drop his first two bouts under the UFC banner, dropping a unanimous decision against Justin Ledet before being KO'd by fan-favorite, Walt Harris. Sherman would go on a mini-win streak when he defeated Rashad Coulter and Damian Grabowski before going on a three-fight skid against Shamil Abdurakhimov, Justin Willis, and Augusto Sakai, which ended up being the final three fights before being let go by the UFC.
Sherman would go 3-0 on the independent circuit, with earned him another shot in the UFC and he'd start off on the right foot when he TKO'd Ike Villanueva in May 2020. Unfortunately for Sherman, he'd drop three consecutive bouts, losing to the likes of former UFC Heavyweight Champion, Andrei Arlovski, Parker Porter, Jake Collier, and Alex Romanov. Despite the three-straight losses, Sherman KO'd Jared Vanderaa, this past July and hopes to make it back-to-back wins for the first time since his return to the company over two years ago.
Waldo Cortes-Acosta (8-0)
Looking to make it three-straight wins since joining the UFC is Waldo Cortes-Acosta.
The Dominican contender earned his spot on the UFC roster after he quickly dispatched of Danilo Suzart in this past season of Dana White's Contender Series, the past August. Cortes-Acosta made his proper UFC debut, this past October, where he defeated Jared Vanderaa via unanimous decision.
Prior to joining the UFC, Cortes-Acosta compiled a 6-0 record on the independent circuit, including wins in Bellator and LFA leading up to his deal with the Dana White-run Las Vegas-based promotion.
