UFC Odds: Money Still Pouring in on Massive Favorite Nunes
Earlier this week, it was reported that close to 70% of the public was backing Amanda Nunes in Saturday’s UFC 250 main event against Felicia Spencer at UFC APEX in Las Vegas.
Now, with the fight right around the corner, even more bets have begun to pour in on the defending women’s bantamweight champion.
Nunes, who comes in riding a 10-fight win streak, is backed by an overwhelming 81% of the public, according to DraftKings. The money is also on Nunes, with 79% of the handle backing the defending champ.
She started the week with -590 odds to beat Spencer, and her odds have shortened to -625Â as of Friday. Those new odds give her an 86.2% implied probability of winning.
As for what method Nunes will use to gether victory on Saturday night, bettors seem to think it will be her punching power that stops Spencer.
60% of the win-method bets and 59% of the handle is on Nunes to win by KO, TKO or DQ (-182). The next most popular method of victory among bettors is Nunes by decision (+333), with 19% of the money and 11% of the bets behind it.
