This weekend’s UFC 251, the first event ever on Fight Island, has received a lot of attention in the weeks leading up.
Most of the hype has surrounded the co-main event between Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal, but bettors and fans alike have also been on the edge of their seat for the other half of the co-main event between Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway.
Oddsmakers have decided they heavily favor Volkanovksi. His best odds sit at -212 but he’s as short as -250 at some sportsbooks. Meanwhile, Holloway’s best odds are +188.
Volkanovski’s -212 odds imply a 67.9% chance of coming out on top against Holloway. Holloway’s odds give him a 34.7% chance at victory.
While oddsmakers have clearly sided with Volkanovski, bettors are a bit more split. 48.39% of all bets have come in on Volkanovski to win, while 45.16% are backing Holloway.

Volkanovski is the current featherweight champion, boasts a 21-1 record overall and is the No. 7 fighter in the UFC’s pound-for-pound rankings. He’s a superstar that’s still unbeaten in the UFC and he’s coming off a win over Holloway via unanimous decision in his last fight, where he also won the title.
Holloway has been fighting in the UFC since 2012 and is the former featherweight champ. He’ll be out for blood and looking to get his belt back come Saturday.
