UFC 251 Odds: Paige VanZant Heavily Backed To Cause Upset

UFC 251 is nearly upon us and bettors can sense an upset. Oddschecker data has shown that 51.7% of bets on Paige VanZant vs. Amanda Ribas have been on the 26-year old from Oregon despite VanZant being a +610 underdog.
Bettors have already been heavily backing Jorge Masvidal as we revealed earlier this week but now we can reveal that the VanZant is taking the majority of bets to beat Brazilian, Amanda Ribas. Ribas is the clear favorite at -700 and currently ranks 15th on the UFC's Strawweight rankings, having only one loss in 10 fights.

VanZant meanwhile is a well known face, having appeared on Dancing With The Stars and Chopped, although her UFC career hasn't gone quite so well, only winning 8 of 12 fights.
VanZant has been missing from the octogon for 18 months and books are clearly expecting her to be rusty, although bettors have other ideas.
