UFC 254 Odds: Bettors Shun Khabib Nurmagomedov In Support Of Justin Gaethje

It's still two months until UFC 254 but that hasn't stopped keen bettors from betting on it's main event, Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Justin Gaethje. In an even bigger shock it's not -225 favorite Khabib that is attracting bets, it's his opponent, American, Justin Gaethje.

Gaethje is considered an outsider at +210, which has come in slightly from +225, three weeks ago. Over the past 7 days a huge 71.7% of bets have been on Gaethje.

This marks a real turnaround, just three weeks ago we revealed that after the announcement of the fight, 72% of the bets had been on the 31-year old Dagestani. Something our social media followers agreed with, as 64.3% said he'd win the fight. It seems now that the tables have flipped entirely, and it's Gaethje who over 70% of bettors are backing.

It's been a difficult year for Khabib following the tragic loss of his father, and although the books still think he'll win this fight, it's clear that bettors feel the bad year may continue for the 28-0 fighter when he faces Justin Gaethje.
