Sportsbooks are confident that fifth overall pick Tua Tagovailoa won't start for the Miami Dolphins in week one. The former Alabama signal caller is a best price +370 to get the nod, with incumbent starter Ryan Fitzpatrick set to keep his spot.
Fitzpatrick showned moments of 'Fitzmagic' and it's likely that he'll be given the opportunity to fight for his spot in Miami, with a best price of -250, for the Harvard man to start week one.
We're still waiting for the schedule to be decided for the upcoming NFL season but one man who won't be looking too hard is Josh Rosen, with the former first-round pick now a massive +2500 to start, surely needing injuries to move up the depth chart.
Oddschecker spokesman Pete Watt: "After tanking for Tua, it looks like +370 is a very generous price, given the Hawaiian's draft pedigree and standout performances for 'Bama.
"The books are confident that the Dolphins will be careful with Tua seeing as he's returning back from injury, especially given the potential for a limited camp."
