Sunday Night Football Odds: Bettors Backing Cowboys
Week 1 of the NFL season is finally here and with it comes the year’s first installment of Sunday Night Football.
Getting Sunday’s primetime feature started this season is the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams, live from the Rams’ brand new SoFi Stadium.
Both teams come in with Super Bowl expectations and are looking to rebound after missing the postseason just a year ago.
The line is anywhere from 1.5 to 2.5, depending where you look, but every sportsbook agrees that the Cowboys are the favorite. Dallas’ best odds of -120 imply a 54.5% chance they start 1-0 this year.
Meanwhile, the Rams sit at +114, giving them just a 46.7% chance of winning at home.
Bettors seem to be even more positive of a Dallas win. As of Sunday afternoon, 63.64% of all moneyline wagers placed on the game have been on the Cowboys.
