Like we mentioned earlier, the Ravens have been dealing with a ton of injuries at the running back position. Over the course of the season, I'm not sure how much impact that will actually have on the team. You can plug and play running backs with decent effectiveness and still get productions. But, I know that it will impact their run game this week, which is a huge part of what they like to do on offense.
As for the Raiders, another year in the Gruden system should have them playing solid football. Hosting a team that's traveling all the way out West is always an advantage for the home team, and having a packed crowd on Monday Night Football should give them a boost. I love the Raiders to cover the four.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Las Vegas Raiders Quarterbacks
These are two teams with extremely solid quarterback situations. Lamar Jackson is back for Baltimore, looking to take a step forward in the passing game in order to take his game to the next level. Jackson is the most dynamic player in the entire NFL. He has great arm strength and is faster than most defensive backs, the Ravens just need him to hit intermediate routes with a little more consistency in order to have him ascend to the top-tier of NFL QBs.
Derek Carr is another QB that is pretty solid in his standing with the team for which he plays. But, if the Raiders don't start improving soon then GM Mike Mayock may decide it's time to move in a different direction. For now, this is Carr's team, but who knows for how long?
