Dak Prescott Massive Favorite to Win Comeback Player of the Year

Dak Prescott Massive Favorite to Win Comeback Player of the Year
Dak Prescott came into the season as the favorite to win the Comeback Player of the Year. It was expected that he’d return to form. However, he wasn’t a massive favorite. Others were there with him, Joe Burrow, Christian McCaffrey, Saquon Barkley. That’s all gone.
Dak Prescott now sits at +150 to win Comeback Player of the Year. That’s an implied 40% chance to take home the award, he’d be just the 2nd Cowboy to do it. The guys second and third on the odds market, Joe Burrow and Jameis Winston aren’t even close as they sit at +800 and +1200 respectively.
Over the last 14 days, 80% of bets have been placed on Prescott to win Comeback Player of the Year. He’s simply the dominant force on the betting market right now.
Dak Prescott has looked exactly like the guy he was before the injury. But, that’s not the only reason he’s seen his odds look so good. The Cowboys are the favorites to win the NFC North. It’s hard for voters not to give the award to a quarterback who returned from injury to lead his team to a division title. Nobody else has that kind of narrative except Joe Burrow, who’s second on the market.
