To start off Week 14 of the NFL season, the Pittsburgh Steelers travel to Minnesota to take on the Vikings. This is an old-school NFL matchup, of two teams who don’t play each other very often. Although this was a Super Bowl matchup back in January of 1975 where the Steelers won 16-6 the series is tied at 9-9 in their history.

This week, the Steelers are riding high off a nice upset win over their division rival Baltimore Ravens. Minnesota is feeling the exact opposite way, as they lost to a previously winless Detroit Lions team on the last-second heroics of Jared Goff.

Both teams need this one to keep their playoff hopes alive, so who comes out on top? Today, we have for you the five most popular bets from this game.

Vikings -3.5

Vikings -3.549%53%

This one is a toss-up from the public but just edging out the Steelers is the favorite Minnesota Vikings at home. The one thing to be cautious of is the Vikings as home favorites are 0-2. They also play notoriously close games so getting the extra point could be huge for the underdog Steelers. I understand where the public is coming from, especially with how good the Vikings offense has been this year, just be careful.

Over 43.5

Over 43.568%88%

The public loves the over tonight and I think I do too. 43.5 points sounds very low for this game. The Vikings are averaging 25.7 points per game and 29 over their last three while Pittsburgh is sitting at 20.3 and 22.3 over their last three games. Neither of these defenses are known for keeping opponents off the board either so if you can get in on the total at 43.5, it absolutely makes sense to put a play on it.

Justin Jefferson first touchdown scorer (+400)

Justin Jefferson is not only one of the best young receivers in the sport but he’s one of the best overall receivers in general, age aside. He has seven receiving touchdowns on the season already four of which have come in the last five games. With Adam Thielen out and Justin Jefferson having a significant lead in targets, this one makes sense on a first touchdown scorer play.

Vikings to win by 1-6 points (+310)

As I mentioned before, the Vikings usually tend to win in close games. Their average margin of victory this year is 0.3 and three of their five wins have been by six points or less. This one feels like a field goal game either way so if you like the Vikings and are looking for some increased value this is a nice prop for you.

Najee Harris to score + Steelers win (+220)

Najee Harris has been excellent for Pittsburgh this year. He has seven total touchdowns in 12 games on the year and is well on his way to a 1,000 yard rushing season in his rookie year. Najee is a good bet to get in the endzone, it’s safe and we know Pittsburgh likes to run him a lot. If you’re on the side of Pittsburgh winning and are looking for extra value pairing it with a Harris anytime touchdown may be the play for you tonight.
