Best Reactions to Giants Taking a Knee on Another Losing Season

The conclusion to this NFL regular season could not come soon enough for New York Giants fans. Apparently, the coaching staff and team have had enough as well.

Another losing season got even harder to stomach down the stretch as the team played out the string minus starting quarterback, Daniel Jones. With backup Mike Glennon also out with an injury for Week 18, that left Jake Fromm as the Giants' top option.

Look, Fromm hasn't done much of anything positive since arriving in the NFL. There's a reason he is a third-string QB on a terrible team. That being said, there's a different between poor execution and not being given the opportunity to execute at all. Based on the Giants' play-calling late in the first half on Sunday, it sure didn't look like the coaches had any faith in the personnel whatsoever.

Umm... WTF?!?! You're backed up to your own goalline with roughly five minutes to go in the SECOND quarter and that's the best you can come up with?

It's almost like the Giants didn't care about their season finale at all! The crazy thing is this is the same team and coaching staff who cried about the Philadelphia Eagles pulling starters in the last week a year ago. That maneuver was the reason the Giants failed to make the postseason.

Well, Joe Judge is officially a hypocrite because he essentially deployed the same disgraceful tactics just one year after bitching about them.

And the Giants wonder why more brown paper bags attended today's home game than smiling fans.

Of course, the fine folks on social media had a field day over the whole QB sneak debacle. While there were some pretty angry reactions coming from Giants faithful, the rest of NFL Twitter had a swell time laughing at the clown show:

The decision by Judge and the coaching staff to run this play is despicable and 100% inexcusable. It shows a complete lack of respect for the game of football, the opposing Washington Football Team and all Giants players, both those who were on the field Sunday and those of years gone by.

What a sad franchise New York has become. It's hard to believe that the Giants have won four Super Bowls in their history. As this fan yelled at owner John Mara before the game, its high-time the Giants brought in some smart football people to get things turned around.

General manager Dave Gettleman will be fired in no time. After Sunday's pathetic display, don't be surprised if Judge is following him out the door.
