Deshaun Watson Next Team Odds: Are the Seahawks an Option After Wilson Trade?
It was an insanely busy day for the NFL yesterday as we got both Aaron Rodgers news and a blockbuster trade. The Seattle Seahawks sent Russell Wilson to Denver for a package of both picks and players.
With Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson figured out, the next quarterback that could find a new home is Deshaun Watson. Let's take a look at Deshaun Watson's next team odds.

Washington Commanders +300 (Bet $100 to win $300)
It's been made pretty clear that Washington is trying to make a big splash at the quarterback position. They were supposedly in on Russell Wilson but Seattle didn't want to trade him in the NFC. With pick 11 in this year's class, the Commanders would be able to offer up a package with a pretty valuable first-rounder to the Houston Texans. Last year, Washington finished 7-10 with fairly poor quarterback play from Taylor Heinicke. An upgrade at the position, with weapons like Antonio Gibson, Terry McLaurin, and Curtis Samuel could be the thing to make them competitive in an otherwise wide-open NFC East.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers +500 (Bet $100 to win $500)
Tampa Bay is an interesting spot. Their roster is pretty much in win-now mode but with Tom Brady retiring, they have a massive hole at the quarterback position. They can't possibly give the keys over to Kyle Trask with this team and their expectations. Maybe a Jameis Winston reunion is in play but they probably want a higher ceiling guy. Trading for Deshaun Watson would put a top-10 caliber quarterback on the field for them and keep them as a heavy favorite to come out of the NFC.
Seattle Seahawks +750 (Bet $100 to win $750)
Now, this would be ironic. Imagine the Seattle Seahawks just take the draft capital they got for Russell Wilson and flip it for Watson. Deshaun Watson will be turning 27 in September and is seven years younger than Russell Wilson. When on the field, Watson is the more talented player at the position at this point in both of their careers. It's a massive risk trading for Deshaun Watson with all of these unknowns about his off the field issue, would Seattle be willing to do it? One thing I know for certain is they can't go into next year with Drew Lock or Geno Smith starting games for them. If they don't like a quarterback in the draft, a play on Watson may make sense here.

New Orleans Saints +900 (Bet $100 to win $900)
The Saints quarterback situation is still very much so up in the air. They could run it back with Jameis Winston but that's no guarantee, or maybe even in a post-Sean Payton world they could still run Taysom Hill out there but we've seen that's probably not the best idea. With the 18th pick in this year's draft, they're not in a prime spot to land a quarterback and you can make the case that there isn't an appealing one in this class anyway. A splash for Deshaun Watson could be enough to keep this team competitive in an otherwise weaker division, especially with the unknowns at quarterback for Tampa.
