Deebo Samuel Trade Odds: Colts Among Most Likely Destinations for the Star Wideout

This league! With the NFL Draft just eight days away, the biggest news out of the NFL today is not about the upcoming draft or any of the prospects. Instead, it's about yet another star wide receiver who could get moved.

According to Jeff Darlington, Deebo Samuel has formally requested a trade from the San Francisco 49ers:

It's been a busy offseason for wide receivers across the NFL with guys like Davante Adams, Tyreek Hill, and Amari Cooper all finding new homes via the trade this offseason. Will Deebo be the latest to get added to the list? Here's a look at the Deebo Samuel next team odds.

New York Jets +400 (Bet $100 to win $400)

The New York Jets were in on Tyreek Hill just a few weeks ago and their need for a number one receiver didn't just disappear overnight. Joe Douglas is primed with four picks in the top-40 to make a big splash via the trade if he so chooses to.

Another thing to keep in mind when looking at the Jets as an option is the familiarity with the 49ers. Offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur and head coach Robert Saleh came from the 49ers organization just last year and the offense the Jets run is very similar to the style of San Francisco's out west.

With year two quarterback, Zach Wilson needing to take a step forward in his development, what better way than landing a star playmaker like Deebo Samuel.

Indianapolis Colts +600 (Bet $100 to win $600)

The Indianapolis Colts are another team that could be in the mix for Deebo Samuel. They brought in Matt Ryan and they already feature one of the best rushing attacks in the league with Jonathan Taylor running the show out of the backfield.

The question for the Colts is if they have the draft assets to get something done. Due to the Carson Wentz trade last year, the Colts don't have a first rounder in this year's draft class. Instead, their first pick comes in the second round at pick 42. Will they be able to package enough to get it done?

If they are, an offense with Matt Ryan under center, Jonathan Taylor, Deebo Samuel, and Michael Pittman sounds like a ton of fun and you'd have to imagine that drastically improves their chances of winning the AFC South with that potent of a unit.
