2022 NFL Draft: Five Players Who Could Be Traded During the NFL Draft

It seems like every year, we're always calling for huge potential trades and no massive trade happens during the NFL Draft. But this year, I have a feeling we might see a couple of bigger trades with so many popular names on the trading block.

Here are five players that could ultimately be on new teams by the end of the NFL Draft.

QB Jimmy Garoppolo

The 49ers are ready to move on from Jimmy G but a lot of teams looking for a quarterback aren't really interested right now. Last season, he threw for 3810 yards with 20 touchdowns. But he's had his moments where you just shake your head. Either way, he's a game manager and gets his team deep into the playoffs. There are worse quarterbacks out there.

If a couple of teams don't get the quarterbacks on their board in the early rounds, some teams will eventually check in on Jimmy G. He's a gamer and you know what you're going to get out of him.

QB Baker Mayfield

It's no surprise that Baker Mayfield is on this list. The Browns just traded for Deshaun Watson with the Texans. Watson will easily be the number one quarterback, leaving Baker Mayfield without a starting job. Mayfield wants to be traded and would love to go somewhere where he has the opportunity of winning a starting job.

Maybe the Pittsburgh Steelers would be the place. Mayfield is on the trading block and could be moved on draft day.

WR/RB Deebo Samuel

Rumor has it that Deebo Samuel wants out of San Francisco. If that's the case, the 49ers will have no choice but to trade him for assets. There will be many teams on the market looking for a player like Samuel. He'll be moved quickly if San Francisco actually has no choice but to move him.

RB Saquon Barkley

Will the Giants actually move on from Saquon Barkley? I'm not so confident. The Giants might give Barkley one more chance. However, if Barkley struggles this season with the Giants, his value will really shrink.

The Giants can play dumb, trade Barkley and get assets before other teams realize his full potential just isn't ever going to come out.

CB James Bradberry

There are so many great corners in the NFL Draft this season. But if a team that's competing for a title wants a corner, Bradberry is on the market. He won't come cheap but I'm sure the Giants will eat some of his price tag. Bradberry is a former Pro Bowler and has the experience to help a football team get to greater heights.
