1. BUFFALO BILLS - 11.5 WINS (OVER -140) (UNDER +120)

Josh Allen emerged as a superstar quarterback in 2021, leading Buffalo to an 11-6 record to secure the AFC East title. Gabe Davis is poised for a breakout season in his third year, and rookies Kaiir Elam and James Cook will add immense value to this juggernaut Bills team in 2022.

2. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS - 10.5 WINS (OVER -100) (UNDER -100)

Andy Reid and the Chiefs' front office made some serious overhaul after losing twice to the Cincinnati Bengals, prematurely ending their 2021-22 season in the AFC Championship game. Patrick Mahomes has a reloaded arsenal at wide receiver, and a pair of late first-round picks were used to improve Kansas City's defense. The Chiefs remain the favorite in a talented AFC West division and close the season against Houston, Seattle, Denver, and Las Vegas, which could prove quite lucrative during their playoff push.

3. LOS ANGELES CHARGERS - 10 WINS (OVER -130) (UNDER +110)

Justin Herbert is another young franchise quarterback on the verge of superstardom. Los Angeles must compete in a loaded AFC West where the worst team is projected to be the Raiders with nine wins. How did they respond? By going all out in free agency, signing Khalil Mack and J.C. Jackson to bolster their defense. Shoring up their offensive line's interior in the first draft round was the only lingering weakness, so the Chargers should be primed to contend and win the AFC West in 2022.

4. DENVER BRONCOS - 10 WINS (OVER -120) (UNDER +100)

The blockbuster trade of the offseason was Russell Wilson departing Seattle and landing in Denver. The Broncos, after many years of fielding struggling quarterbacks, finally traded to acquire Wilson to unlock their offense. It will be a bit of a project early on due to the new head coach and former Packers OC Nathaniel Hackett getting players to adjust to his zone-blocking scheme. Jerry Jeudy and Javonte Williams comprise the core nucleus of the Broncos' young offensive talent heading into 2022.

5. CINCINNATI BENGALS - 10 WINS (OVER +105) (UNDER -125)

Cincinnati is the only other team in the AFC with their over/under win total set at 10. The Bengals shocked everyone with an AFC Championship title and nearly mounted a comeback in a narrow loss against the Rams during Super Bowl LVI. Another great offseason by the Bengals' front office has Joe Burrow positioned to repeat his 2021 performance behind an upgraded offensive line and arguably the top wide receiving corps in the league.

6. BALTIMORE RAVENS - 9.5 WINS (OVER -150) (UNDER +125)

A healthy Lamar Jackson and the return of J.K. Dobbins are the primary reason Baltimore is valued as the slight betting favorite at +185 over the Bengals (+190) to win the AFC North in 2022. Rashod Bateman has to fulfill high expectations after the departure of Marquise "Hollywood" Brown, but Mark Andrews has proven to be Jackson's favorite target throughout the years. The Ravens are poised for a bounce-back campaign to win the division in 2022.

7. INDIANAPOLIS COLTS - 9.5 WINS (OVER -140) (UNDER +120)

The Colts were one win shy of making the playoffs and fell short of ten wins with erratic play from Carson Wentz in 2021. Insert Matt Ryan, a talented veteran who is a high-caliber pocket passer with plenty of tread left to burn. Rostering the best running back, Jonathan Taylor will always improve a team's chances to win, especially in a bad AFC South division. Stephon Gilmore and Yannick Ngakoue were signed as major defensive pieces this offseason, strengthening one of the better defensive units in the league.

8. TENNESSEE TITANS - 9 WINS (OVER +100) (UNDER -120)

Trading away A.J. Brown sent ripple effects across the first night of the 2022 NFL Draft. Many have speculated the decision made by the Titans' front office, as they drafted rookie wideout Treylon Burks to be his heir apparent. Derrick Henry remains among the best running backs in the league at age 27, and the signing of tight end Austin Hooper and wideout Robert Woods will keep the Titans competitive in 2022. Playing Houston and Jacksonville provides a golden opportunity for four wins per season, while the Giants, Raiders, and Commanders create a soft stretch to begin Tennessee's schedule.

9. MIAMI DOLPHINS - 9 WINS (OVER +105) (UNDER -125)

The Dolphins have had quite the ride this offseason but managed to arrive at their destination. The hiring of Mike McDaniel to mentor Tua Tagovailoa could be a genius decision by Miami's management, as he now has weapons like Tyreek Hill and Chase Edmonds to pair with Jaylen Waddle and Mike Gesicki. Vegas expects the Dolphins to fall south of nine wins in McDaniels' first season. However, sprinkling a few bucks on the 'Phins to finish with ten wins at +105 is very enticing.

10. LAS VEGAS RAIDERS - 8.5 WINS (OVER -120) (UNDER +100)

The Raiders made huge improvements with the signing of head coach Josh McDaniels and star wideout Davante Adams. Derek Carr is now reunited with his former college teammate, is experiencing the emergence of Hunter Renfrow, and benefits from Darren Waller's size and catch radius. The Raiders' defense added Chandler Jones to pair with Maxx Crosby on the edge, but it will have another tough season trying to contain the other three AFC West offenses in 2022.

11. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS - 8.5 WINS (OVER -115) (UNDER -105)

The Patriots are in the rare position of being valued at minus-odds for both sides of their projected 8.5 win total in 2022. Bill Belichick continues to play coach and general manager, but the offensive coordinating vacancy left by Josh McDaniels is rumored to be filled by Joe Judge. The prospect of a Joe Judge-led offense in an offense whose strength lies in the backfield and not with the wideouts could spell disaster early for the former dynasty.

12. PITTSBURGH STEELERS - 7.5 WINS (OVER +110) (UNDER -130)

The oddsmakers are out on Mike Tomlin extending his streak for most years finished with a .500 or better record in 2022. Mitch Trubisky and rookie Kenny Pickett will battle it out in training camp. The AFC North is always a grind, and chaos reigns supreme. T.J. Watt and Cameron Hayward remain entrenched on the defensive line, with Minkah Fitzpatrick lurking as the trusty ball-hawking safety on the back-end. Rookie wideout George Pickens could elevate this top-heavy wide receiving corps and help the rest of the offense operate better than expected.

13. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS - 6 WINS (OVER -120) (UNDER +100)

A disastrous rookie season mired in controversy left Trevor Lawrence struggling in 2021. Hiring Doug Pederson as the Jaguars' head coach could be the treatment needed to remove the impact of such an abysmal year. He's explicitly known for his ability to develop quarterbacks, so Pederson should have no problem molding Lawrence in a new offense that includes Evan Engram, Christian Kirk, and a healthy Travis Ettiene Jr.

14. NEW YORK JETS - 5.5 WINS (OVER -165) (UNDER +135)

The Jets stole the 2022 NFL Draft spotlight by drafting Ohio State wide receiver Garrett Wilson and Iowa State's Breece Hall in the first two rounds. The emergence of Elijah Moore in 2021, paired with the outlook these rookies possess, makes the Jets an exciting team to follow. Even their defense saw a significant upgrade with Sauce Gardner and Jermaine Johnson being drafted in the first round. 5.5 wins seems too low, which is why the juice is on over -165. There is a chance that the New York experiment flops under Zach Wilson in Year 2, in which case betting the under at +135 provides the best ROI.

15. HOUSTON TEXANS - 4.5 WINS (OVER +100) (UNDER -120)

It's a brutal scene for Houston Texans fans right now. The Texans have the lowest set win total at 4.5, and they're favored to win four or fewer games in 2022. Davis Mills is a bright spot amidst the gloom, and Lovie Smith brings plenty of experience and a winning pedigree. Marlon Mack and John Metchie III are other players worth noting, as the former could return to a double-digit touchdown season, while the latter is an explosive rookie coming off of a torn ACL.

16. CLEVELAND BROWNS - N/A

Oddsmakers are waiting to release their over/under win total for the Cleveland Browns until they understand Deshaun Watson's legal situation better. The NFL is rumored to be mulling a year-long suspension regardless of the courtroom hearings, leaving Jacoby Brissett to take starting snaps under center. Nick Chubb, Amari Cooper, and Kareem Hunt are all proven stars. A top-five offensive line and an elite defense led by Myles Garrett should keep the Browns in contention in the AFC North, even if they are forced to play with Brissett for most of the 2022-23 season.
